Firstly thanks all who replied to my rather ranty post about my bro. I was really out of it for a few days after and your kind words helped. *hugs* He called and left a message on my mom's phone the other day apologising and saying it was because of his painkillers he went off like that. w/e. it's not the first time i've gotten attitude from him for no good reason. I dunno if I really wanna go to the baptism. we'll see.

So in theory, will be making a hospital appointment either tomorrow or the day after cause the pills I have aren't working and I really don't like being anemic on top of it all. Other than that just trying to get the energy to finish my port/resume and go onto job hunting again. Need to still get the money from my last web design job as I sure could use the $500 on a netbook.

My writing dryspell has been broken so hopefully that means i can FINALLY finish a few wips I've been juggling. Will edit and repost the drabbles I did today but in case you're in the mood for awesome au star trek drabbles (mostly kirk/bones but got a uhura/gaila one too XD) check out the awesome bridge2sickbay comm =D! I also did a crack parody crossover of sailormoon there with Bones/Uhura... It would have been more awesome but so not used to writing drabbles in under 30min.

*LUFFS TO ALL*

So tomorrow's my birthday. I'll be 26. I figure it's been too long of too many just archived twitter messages and thought a real post was needed. Well, I've been wanting to post for a few weeks now, of various things. Of the major meta-ing i wanted to do when i jumped into the nu!trek fandom (yep, star trek has been keeping my attenting for a bit now despite having originally disliked the new movie), of a recent death in the neighborhood but it was like family, of the ups and downs i go through daily and, of course of my birthday tomorrow. Nothing special as it is the middle week and lately my mind hasn't been able to comprehend PLANNING AHEAD (and with what's tentatively planned for July, that's a bad thing). My parents took the day off but mum has a doctor's appointment and she got called in for jury duty. dunno really why my father took the day off as he didn't have anything really planned either. But he needs the rest when he can so I don't mind.

Pretty much didn't pass any of my classes in the spring as I kinda just gave up at spring break. i think part of it was crushed that i couldn't make up a class and it would take me longer to get out of City.

Had planned to take one class in the summer but never got around to it. had planned to get a job too but as i'm too selfish to not cancel my july plans, and not being able to find the kind of job i wanted (earlier on, haven't checked recently) jobless. Well, I have a web design commission, but dunno how much I'll get paid for that. I'm just hoping it'll cover my plane ride to LA for a masq that my mum doesn't want me to go to cause she's probably babied me too much in life she doesn't know how not to freak out when i do things with out them (in the rare times that I do do such things).

Told pip the other day I wanted to take a break (which is funny since tech haven't i been on break since the better part of the year?) and not have to worry about school... i'm so freaking close yet feeling so far. but i'm seriously sick of school. there were classes i enjoyed, and Japanese was fun but since I can't take any more till i'm in a different school it feels like why bother... but damn it if a degree didn't help me get the jobs i want.

i wish i had the proper discipline to freelance. i think i could at least make an okay income freelancing and networking. but i'm so lazy, it's really ridiculous and sad y'all. i have the ideas, but no energy to write... to get that novel i promised myself years ago i'd have written before i turned 26...

But tomorrow I'll be 26 and a quarter of my life will be done and what have I done with that first quarter? Nothing that'll keep me going for the next. Don't mind me, just being a bit melodramatic atm.

As much as they hurt me, I miss my old friends. With them I had this illusion of a great close friendship, of believing that people not my family were thinking of me on a daily basis (and i them), and of being cared for in a way that only a physical frienship could. I still have a bit of that, luckily, with some of my HS friends and I'm so grateful for that. And I know that if not for y'all, my online friends, I dunno where I'd be right now, that I wouldn't have the happieness I do have (thank you so much for being here). I don't think I've healed from their breakup so I cling to the ones I have and only make half the effort I used to because I'm afraid anymore and I'll be once again that way-too-clingy-why-are-we-friends kind of person that Tony & Cory and a few other people accused me of being back in the day.

Ugh, maybe I need to get laid... (hah, like that'll happen the way I look) Maybe I just needed to get this out so that hopefully I can sleep again like a somewhat normal person. XD I've somewhat started an exercise program, hopefully I'll stick to it. I'm tired of being lonely.

Hopefully you'll see more from me. Probably a bit more star trek stuff before I get back to snupin (i have one finished fic that I really need to finish the edits on), as star trek's eaten my brain and hey... any creative product is better than NO creative product. It'll be slash (mccoy/bones ftGQw) probably...And probably more art. I've done one art so far (yay, i really want to get back into drawing again) that you can view here, don't worry it's pretty much work safe.

Sorry for the rambling, but I'm just glad I was able to make this post. And sorry, my irrational self doesn't want to LJ-CUT this. *hugs flist* Thanks for putting up with me. Maybe when I'm 26, I'll be easier to handle. ^^

I'm hoping to write up some real posts this weekend. Doing well, feeling lots a better, slowly catching up w/ schoolwork heh. In the mean time, let me amuse you with a meme! ^_^ Taken from kelkatan

Will reply to comments soon... *snugs flist* =D So part of my resolution was to blog more... So here goes... If you keep up with my twitterings, I mentioned how funny my astronomy teacher is. He's a sarcastic one and definitely will make class more interesting (on top of the interesting subject of course. =D). Well like every astronomy class I've been in, the first assignment is always a math assessment even though the course description said there was no math needed...Lie as there's always minimal math going on in astronomy, I just hope it's not as hardcore as my past couple of courses. XD

At least he tries to make it interesting:

My first thought was whether or not there was a book IV for the series and that this was a trick question...XD Granted I never read the series and only the movies maybe I'm wrong? At any rate, I wrote 87.1 m as my answer (and I sure hope that's correct lol).

Then of course I had a sarcastic response to this one:

Seriously, I wrote But why is all the rum gone? and then 16 good drinks and 1 so-so drink then the actual numerical answer. XD

Overall, I hope I do well on this math assesment... I used to be fantastic at it in highschool but I've other things crammed into my brain since then so it's all blurred together, heh.

But now that's done, time for a break and watch more The Mentalist episodes and then start up reading for my Labors History class. Quiet weekend, and for once a bit productive. XD How was yours, flist? =D

So my new year's day egg said I'd be traveling this year... Hope that's true, and hope it's to either Japan or Guatemala so we'll see. =D

If all goes according to plan, this semester will be my last at City College and then in the fall I shall be in SF State, God willing. I haven't made any official resolutions though I hope to get more fandom work done and be organized enough to expand to other fandoms that I follow. Also hope to blog more, and not put it off as I usually do.

I'm going to have to drop a webdesign portfolio class as I don't have room for it and all these other classes are needed for me to transfer... Ah well... I need to at least pass all these with a C but really.... B or above would be great as my gpa is on the cusp of not being enough for transfer... ^^;;

At any rate, had a pretty good weekend. Went to what hopefully will be a monthly Sangria Party at Cha Cha Cha's. It was only Laura and I as everyone else seemed to be too busy. We went to the one in the Haight so we could walk around Golden Gate Park. Took some pics with an instant camera, dunno when I'll ever get around to sending it to Walgreens heh. We picked random trails and eventually hit the Museums area, got to see what the new Science one now looks like (with a living roof!). Debated ways to break in and steal stuff heheh. Then found the Children's Playground (which is now called Children's Quarter >_>) and found all my fave playing areas have been removed for more little kid friendly crap. =/ at least there's still sand and the stone slide...

But yeah, good food and good Sangria as always. We ordered the large pitcher (which is like 6 glasses easy) and couldn't NOT finish the thing. So yeah let's just say I probably was tipsy and Laura was near drunk. So we walked through haight, got ice cream, found our way to japantown and had a good time at Karaoke. ^_^ Wish the night didn't have to end but she had to be back on bart before midnight to get home, alas.

Yesterday was first day of classes and despite major walking back and forth across campus(map is flat but this is on a mountain x_x), it was a good day. Gave me hope that I'll get in the classes I need and do what i need to do to move on. Cause I seriously need to get on with my life,someway somehow.

Have 200 plus tabs to now get through, may not comment to all posts but just letting you know I am reading them. =D

OH, I was thinking of maybe making a group at GoodReads/Shelfari... And have it be for my flist (and then your flist most likely too XD) as I've been able to read more books of late and love to hear recs and see what else y'all are reading. I know I have got a couple of you on there (some at one, some at the other) so let me know if you're interested in that?

I think that's pretty much all I wanted to say... *hugs flist* Now to do homework and catch up on comments and emails...and finish belated snupin fic... XD

So I fell down today. You know those concrete grate thingies that are everywhere? Well I stepped onto one that wasn't secure, so it pressed down and all my weight landed on my knee. I'm used to falling, I've always been a klutzy gal. I would trip all the time or get knocked down in basketball. I fall, get embarrassed, shake it off and head home to ache. XD But today I was on the floor stunned. Got up to shake it off and took a few steps and nearly fell again, the pain was so strong. I had to lean against a traffic light pole to gather myself. There was no way I'd be able to make it on the Bart, and walk home without getting into a nother mishap. I was crying. I hobbled over to a bench in front of a high end private school and called my brother. It took a few tries as I knew he'd  be dead asleep but I finally got a hold of him. He picked me up and took me home. When my grandmother got home, she gave me a neurotin and I was able to check email real quick before falling asleep and only recently waking up to more pain. Ugh. I needed to get so much done tonight. >_<

SnuSa started and pretty much every other fest. Won't be able to properly enjoy and review till tomorrow. Wanted to hang out in chat with people and have a good time tonight. Also wanted to make wishlist and holiday card posts. oh well. least the hallmark channel has cheesy christmas movies to cheer me up.

Sorry to whine flist. *hugs* Hope everyone was having a better day than me. Now I know why Garfield hates mondays. XD

So I've been sitting on this journal entry for a while. Nothing important about it, just the fact that it'd be a real life entry from me rather thant the twitter dailies. I've not really much to say. Got one of my three festival fics/art done though it was like pulling teeth (even if I came up with a great premise. XD) NaNo's not been as productive as I hoped. Wanted to talk more about it on here but just haven't. School's been going okay but it'll certainly be tight the rest of this semester and next to ensure my going to State. I've been lucky so far, so I hope my luck can hold till I'm guaranteed into state.

Some other good news. My mom finally got a promotion so she's an Assistant Manager now! It's like an extra $200 a week which should mean we won't go a few days near red as often or at all anymore. I'm still looking on the job front but there's a possibility of a retail job at Lucas Arts. =D So I'm really hoping for that. XD

Really need to work on getting a portfolio up so I can get some freelance web design done or get some commishes... Hopefully that'll get done before the end of the year.

今日、承認手紙を受け取りました。次の秋の学期にサン　フランシスコ　ステート　大学通うでしょう～！

Sorry if the japanese seems off, been a while since I've had to think about it... XD So a month or so ago I applied to State, they requested transcripts and I had planned to send them in January so I could include this semester. I didn't think I would get a word whether or not I'd get in till after they reviewed that. Apparently not, as I got a letter today saying I've been accepted to San Francisco State University! WOOHOO! Of course it's conditional that I complete all the required classes this and next semester. I dropped the ball one class but I'll definitely make up for it next semester (which won't be as light as I thought haha). *fwee!* Hopefully I'll only need a year at state taking the upper level Japanese and whatever gen eds they think I might need and then I can get a real job maybe working at a video game company or one of the manga companies... FINALLY, after the fiasco that was Arts Institute, I'm finally moving on.

Things I need to post: snupin blank calendar wallpaper with icons by lore, a NoOnProp8 post (with a disturbing anecdote), drabbles post, pimping post... think that's about it. Slowly catching up on flist again. *hugs all*

Though I'm sure most of you don't read RL posts or most of my journal (since I'm rather subject focused on what I post, ^^;;), but thought I'd give a quick run-down on what's going on for anyone who doesn't check out the twitter dailes.

School's been okay, I had to drop one class but really... It was a bad class choice and I knew that from the beginning. Finished all the midterms and I know for sure I aced one (literally *hee*), passed another, and barely passed the other two. XD Excited to get into a NEW speech group, hoping there'll be more effiency and not the fail that was the last group (despite me getting to know one of the guys and liking his humor).

Grandma's been in and out of the hospital due to her lymphadema. Each time it's harder cause her veins aren't very strong and the worst is getting the needle in and it staying there without it collapsing. She's otherwise her busy little self. My brothers, as usual, are a disappointment. The one with a newborn lost his old job and is trying to hit everyone up for money even though we're all broke. >_<

Nothing new on the job front, either my credit score is too bad or people don't like the odd school hours I have (even though I'm willing to work weekends) or something. >_> Maybe I fail at that stupid 100 question psycology test that the big businesses make you take (You can sense other people's moods: strongly agree, agree, neither, disagree, strongly disagree). I applied for federal work study at college cause they're usually desperate for people. But I don't get paid more than $9 and no more than 14 hours a week if I do get anything from them *sigh*.

Oh, applied to SF State. =D They're now just waiting on my official transcripts... I guess I'll wait till this semester is over to send them. At least I'll have three of the gen ed requirements done by it. The rest will be done in Spring. I dunno if I should send them the transcripts from AI, since that's mostly art stuff and supposedly doesn't transfer anywhere. My major for State will be Japanese with maybe a minor in creative writing as they don't offer anything media arts related.

That's prettymuch it other than doing NaNoWriMo this year as you already know.. =D But that'll be for another post. XD Working on getting the LLnM winnings finished, working on getting a commishion page up for art (though if anyone wants to commish me now, I may do a few for VERY cheap so I can have some quality samples done XD).

Due to researching steampunk stuff, I found out that a playhouse will be doing a steampunk version of my favorite Shakespeare play, Twelfth Night! Saw the set pics and it looks gorgeous and I really wanna go. But it's in New York. Despite being broke, I'm considering on how I may get there.... May finally have to help my mom with her Herbalife.

I really need to learn to write blog entries on the spot, instead of telling myself oh I'll make a good lengthy one later. Then I never do, haha. Things have been going all right. Already just a tad bit behind schoolwork but planning to catch up by tomorrow.

Been wanting to share my creative writing exercises to y'all but havent had a chance. That class is a bit scary, having to do exercises on the spot and sometimes having to read aloud. ^^;; So not used to that heh. For the first Submit days, I handed in my two short original fics I've written before. They're the ones listed in my masterlist. I briefly glanced over the comments but really am scared to read and take in. It's the first time I've had my stories looked at by anyone professional. Any previous original stories I've done (aside from when I was 10) were always done for school so I never really had big attachments to them. This is different, they're fics I really tried to excel in. Fanfic is different, I'm not as scared when people actually do critique it cause it's not all mine obviously. I'm just tweaking known characters and situations. Well, we'll see. I may or may not post my exercises up, not sure if anyone would truly be interested.

Hating my Group Speech class... Not so much the subject matter but the group I was assigned to. Including me, we're a group of six, three girls and three boys. The girls are great and talkative. One boy actually speaks up a bit. The other two? SILENCE. Our first assignment as a group was to find out one thing we all had in common, use that to create a group name & a logo. The girls were talkative, the boys shrugged their shoulders. We even tried video games but apparently *gasp* one of them really wasn't into gaming even though the rest of us were. Two days straight and we couldn't get anything on them to agree or share. Worse than pulling teeth, I know as I have plenty experience on that. The closest we could get to was we have all been out of the country, sadly one never used an airport so we couldn't get more specific. The girls and the semi-talkative boy decided to narrow it to smuggling. We've all had smuggled something in (just the usual normal stuff, nothing illegal). Except the two boys were rather quiet. One said that he only left the country when he was a toddler and the other just shrugged and fingered his DS. We finally agreed that they would lie and make something up for the presentation. I volunteered to make the logo. You''ll see it under the cut. =D The bag used is taken from thinkgeek, rest is drawn by me. XD So we finally have a name, Smuggling Travelers! The next month is going to be hell though with the real group assignment. I feel like the girls and maybe the one boy will be doing everything. BLAH.

Math is boring but necessary, have some stupid ass hecklers in the back of the classroom. If they're loud & noisy I one more time I may have to complain to the teacher. Basically just need to make sure I understand all the materials before test times. Best way is to do the assignments and show up for class. History isn't soo boring but as I've tried to take the same class before, the first few weeks are a bit redundent. Lots of writing and reading but I hope to get it all done. No real friendly faces in this class *sigh*.

Astronomy is online and that's the class I'm really behind on cause my textbook decided to take an extra week to get to me than stated. I hope I'll be able to catch up. Love the teacher and she's kinda easy so hoepfully I'll have no problem catching up.

Dad's really pressuring me to get a job. I'd like the money but I'd rather focus on school and my online projects (LJ keeps me sane, y'all keep me sane) so I can get my degree and get a job in the field I want. Dunno, might go to Spirit on Tuesday now that the weather is better and apply. Seriously, past two weeks? Couldn't get ANYTHING done with the house being always near 90 degrees despite a fan. Not fun.

Speaking of the house, it's up for sale. The owner prolly getting too old to care about it, not like she ever did. So now we're succumbed to having to clean up our apartment at a moment's notice for potential buyer walk throughs. >_< Dunno if anyone will buy this PoS. Needs so much repairs it's ridiculous. Only reason it shouldn't be torn down as it survived the 1906 earthquake and all earthquakes since. that's pretty awesome. At any rate since we're not illegals like most of the neighborhood, if we get kicked out we'll be sure to get the monies owed to us to find a new place. Pip really wants me to move to Millbrae. If it meant spending more time with him, I'd like that. It'd be a miracle to find a place in San Francisco with min 3 bedrooms for under 1200... And that's pushing it for us. At any rate, I don't see us moving out before the end of the year.

I think tomorrow shall be Meme-Day so expect some non-sensery from me. =D Will prolly catch up on emails and comments tomorrow. *hugs flist* Oh, n2s for next post... talk about tv shows...

OH! I can't believe I almost forgot! I'm an aunty again! My 2nd oldest brother had his first kid, a whopping 10 lb baby! His name is Mauricio (*groan*) Jonathan. I'll either be calling him MJ or Johnny. =D Seen him once so far, looks like a chubby baby buddha haha. =D

So alas summer vacay is over and I've nearly completed my first day of school. Got to go to my night class in about... 30 min heh. First day is usual introductory stuff... So nothing interesting. I do think I'll be enjoying my creative writing class, so you may see my homework assignments here as they'll all be original fiction. =D I think for the first turn in assignment I'm going to use one of my very few original fictions I've posted to get a proper critique. I don't have any comments on them so I don't know if my flist just isn't interested or I'm bad when it comes to non-fanfic writing. XD

Finally was smart enough to buy some of my textbooks via amazon shops as i'm saving nearly 80% off the used price listed at the college store. I don't mind waiting a few days for a $15 book instead of plopping down $80 to get it tomorrow. Slowly working on the livelongnmarry so if you're one of the winners, don't fret. But feel free to email/im/comment here if you're worried or curious how far along I am.

Family wise, mom and grandma have both been in the hospital this past weekend... If you keep up on the twitter statuses, mom had a type of food poisoning and is doing well. Grandma has lymphadema and got her arm infected again somehow so is currently in the hospital. Hopefully she'll be better by tomorrow to come out. Finally made my appointment to the school clinic, will be going tomorrow and then will be needing to set up a full woman's exam which won't be fun. XD I think that's all for tonight, so I shall leave you with my fun and erratic school schedule! =3

Finally done with summer session, yay! I aced my Poly-Sci Final but because I bombed the midterm I'll only be getting by with a C. And only cause the teacher knows I understood my material, as my real grade should have been a D. So thank god for that! I'm also sure I aced my other class's final but I was bad with the assignments so we'll see. Least I'll get a few weeks of sleeping in before the new semester starts.

Health wise, feels like it was a few years ago with my supposed PCOS acting up again and I'm losing too much blood. I had a package of BC still leftoever from when I was insured under my mom but that's slowly coming to an end. Going to the school clinic to see if i can get some from there so that way I can start regulating this again... My mom's afraid it's something worse with me but I'm afraid to go to a new doctor, especially general hospital... when i was so used to Kaiser (despite all the horror stories from them).

So it finally seems like the landlady wants to spruce up the house and sell it off. an inspector's coming in tomorrow to see what needs to be taken care off. personally, this decrepid house needs to just be bulldozed and start over again. my mom's thinking of trying to get a real house in Millbrae/Burlingame area for about $1800. It's almost double our current rate (but it's a full house with three bedrooms) but she thinks with it we can get rid of our storage which would help out. My dad's trying to get it so we don't have to move. I don't mind moving, obviously we can't afford the city, but if we move i *need* to have my own room. and if we stay, least shit will be fixed. well, in theory.

Still not liking how serious my mom's into with all this Jehovah Witness crap, but after a talk with Pip, I understand why it happened. It just happened to be there when we lost my niece, her granddaughter, to the government. I only wished it was a Catholic person that had helped her out instead. I mean, I'm tolerant to all religious and non religious beliefs. I'm a lazy Catholic with spiritual tendencies. It's just... *shrug*

Allrighty, time to do a quick few memes and then help my mom in writing up her first resume so that maybe she can get the managorial position at the deli at molliestone's. =D Wish us luck!

No need to rub your eyes, yesh, this is a real post and not a Twitter summary~! ^_^ I've been wanting to write a proper post for a really long time but things kept getting in the way. Mostly projects. I feel bad to be posting when I have overdue projects to finish, so I tend to not post or respond to comments till I get at least one project done. I've been slowly catching up on everyone's journals but I prolly won't be commenting on them unless they were from the past few weeks. Hope everyone's well!

So much to say, yet not much really at all lol. My birthday was monday and I'm now a quarter century old. Thanks to everyone who's wished me happy birthday so far, it really made my day. ^___^ XD Sadly all my goals I had to before turning 25 have not been fulfilled. Hopefully I'll get them done soon. As a semi-last minute gift from my mom, we went down to Disneyland. I had a lot of fun despite my feet deciding to act totally against me lol. I should have pictures up soon. The digi-cam broke early on the 2nd day so I gotta wait till the instant cameras get processed. =/ I got lots of nice goodies tho most are either Princess Belle related or Pirate Princess related, hehe.

Currently in summer classes which are going okay. As long as I can pass I'll be very happy. After the fall semester, I'll only have the english classes to take before I can transfer to State. I'm debating on trying for a 1-4 year study in Japan. Honestly would rather do a semester but I don't think I can find anything like that. I just want to get my first degree so I can get a higher paying job that's more permanent and pertinent to what I want to do in life.

Fandom wise I've been passive in all my fandoms. And at the same time, wanting to join new fandoms. XD I'm hoping to have some finished pieces to show off rather soon. =3 And... I think I'll leave this post at that. I may in the next few hours or so post some meme posts so sorry in advance for spamming your flist. *hugs to all*

Hulu will be the death of me. XD I just found out that they have all of season one of Babylon 5 to watch. Talk about nostalgia. XD So I'll probably be marathoning that this week since I caught up with all of the soaps (yay). I should be forcing myself to catch up on the last 4-5 eps of Smallville but I haven't been able to do it. Just the thought that Sam's back for an ep kills me. My friend is also bugging me to catch up on BSG but that's like nearly 2 seasons worth of eps to catch up on. I guess I just don't want somethinig so heavy handed to watch. Now if DS9 gets on Hulu, I dunno how I'll ever get things done... haha.

Other TV news, I swear if Eli Stone doesn't come back for a second season (along with New Amsterdamn and hopefully Chuck & Reaper), I may have to swear off tv forever (save for when pushing daisies comes back) cause... Wow. It's just a fantastic and uplifting show (even though they destroyed our beloved Golden Gate Bridge XD). It's great to have a drama with humor and positive thoughts.

Can't seem to get anything creative done of late. Or do anything other than play casual games. My mind's been wracking on trying to figure out an angsty but believable plot bunny for a Booth/Brennan (Bones Tv) fic. Speaking of Bones... Personality quiz under the cut! *hee* Nothing else new on the personal front. Just gotta do things day to day....

Oh! Signed up for summer classes. =D Gonna be doing a Gym Circuit thingy and having a go again at the Women's Health class. So hopefully this summer, I'll slim down a teeny bit. =3 Okies that's enough from me for now.

Every day I keep meaning to blog about things in my head or what I found online. Anyhoo a quick note. I've found a service that posts a listing of my latest twitterings to LJ (dunno if i can configure it work for both LJ & IJ). What is twitter? Just a neat service where you type 140 characters of what's currently going on or what you're thinking. I love to use it when i'm on the bus (as my mobile has internet) or just surfing the web. Hope it may be of interest to some of you on what's going on in my life (especially since I don't post as much as I'd like).

kirasha inadvertently got me addicted to blippr where you do quick reviews of books/movies/music/games. Seriously these web 2.0 sites are addictive. If anyone wants to join blipper, let me know as I have a few invites. =D

I'm thinking this weekend of making a recs post of the latest and coolest (to me of course =P) social networking sites like the one above, goodreads, and many others. I love being connected to people in anyway possible. And as most of y'all know, I don't really have any RL connections outside of family so something like this is great.

I don't think I"ve been able to write cause my work area is disorganized. Last week I started to clean and clear but haven't finished (half my bookshelf is now all around me) so I think I need to get that done before I can settle comfortably into writing. Still the plot bunnies keep growing, now in many different fandoms. XD

Now heading out to the special Tanforan Mall Century Theater Grand Opening Gala. =D Going to eat first and then going to this. We get to see a free movie, hopefully it'll be something that hasn't come out yet and something I want to see.

Lol, the Relay team for the Olympic Torch run has moved the route without telling anyone. Instead of being on Embarcadero, it's now on Pine St. So all the protestors are waiting at the wrong route. So many freaking cops as you can see in my tumblr post (http://mythark.tumblr.com/post/31287353). It's crazy cause we're only getting weak helicopter feeds and cell phone camera pics online as all the media cameras are still at embarcadero. I'm sad I'm missing this, but at least I can watch along with the befuddled news anchors.

So hour late, and new route (with rumored boat relay), barely any protestors... This is awesome. Yay for San Francisco! ^_^ any updates will be via ETA.

eta 1 poor stranded protesters. One lil scuffle so far but relatively calm. I'll have more running commentary on my twitter account. Seems like the relay's heading towards golden gate bridge, passing Gallileo HS (Bay&Gough st.) Sorry to zephre for listening to all my rambles.

eta 2 now at the marina near chrissie fields. Hey protesters, no need to throw bottles or objects at the torch runners. >_> Very quick exchanges and running and seems to be coming to an end soon?

eta 3 on freeway now, i think it's interesting that they're alone now with all the spectators trying to follow along the highway. Image here. Small closing ceremony at undisclosed location. Maybe finally coming to a close.

Nonetheless, Good Job San Francisco! We hosted a rather peaceful relay that was just sneaky and awesome. Now the Olympic officials will have a good feeling about continiuing the international relay. Way to show off that we may be liberal (and a bit crazy [not as crazy as Berkely XD j/k]) but we can still host a peaceful yet controversial event. ^_^

Not too great of a day. Despite what I had journaled about in my last entry, things haven't been going as planned. Anyhoo. This past couple of weeks, because of Hulu and their advertisement of having all of season 1 of Bones (and hearing about it from dungeons_master of course), I decided to watch it. It's freaking addicting. Downloaded all of season 2 and what's out of season 3. Although I didn't like the changes they made from the first season, it still kept me going. The cases themselves ('cept for the story arc ones) aren't too puzzling. It's all about the dialog and the acting. Simply superb! The character driven storylines are also excellent and fresh. A series I definitely recommend (but certainly not for the squeamish, had to look in another window at times).

Because I would marathon into the wee hours of the night, I think my dreaming got affected. I know I had bits of Bones like clues in them. The most interesting thing is for the past few weeks I've had the most vivid dreams that I can recall. Some were like novels with strange twists that would stay with me until I realized I was awake. I had a few disturbing ones, nightmares like, that did involve family. Luckily nothing too serious has happened to anyone in real life. The last really good (though kinda weird one) I wish I had written down. I thought I wouldn't forget about it cause it was just too good but... Trying to write it out now isn't working. I think a plane was involved and betting with either Death or some other supernatural force. I think I was also being chased (i tend to have a lot of chasing dreams/nightmares). But yesh just food for thought. XD
