Of Dreams, TV and a Meme ^_^
Not too great of a day. Despite what I had journaled about in my last entry, things haven't been going as planned. Anyhoo. This past couple of weeks, because of Hulu and their advertisement of having all of season 1 of Bones (and hearing about it from dungeons_master of course), I decided to watch it. It's freaking addicting. Downloaded all of season 2 and what's out of season 3. Although I didn't like the changes they made from the first season, it still kept me going. The cases themselves ('cept for the story arc ones) aren't too puzzling. It's all about the dialog and the acting. Simply superb! The character driven storylines are also excellent and fresh. A series I definitely recommend (but certainly not for the squeamish, had to look in another window at times).

Because I would marathon into the wee hours of the night, I think my dreaming got affected. I know I had bits of Bones like clues in them. The most interesting thing is for the past few weeks I've had the most vivid dreams that I can recall. Some were like novels with strange twists that would stay with me until I realized I was awake. I had a few disturbing ones, nightmares like, that did involve family. Luckily nothing too serious has happened to anyone in real life. The last really good (though kinda weird one) I wish I had written down. I thought I wouldn't forget about it cause it was just too good but... Trying to write it out now isn't working. I think a plane was involved and betting with either Death or some other supernatural force. I think I was also being chased (i tend to have a lot of chasing dreams/nightmares). But yesh just food for thought. XD

And now a meme I yanked from sciathan_file that talks about me a bit. =3 Formated to answer with Livejournal/Insanejournal responses as I'm trying out Semagic and its crossposting skillz.


1. My username is dizilla/dianamoon(for IJ) because well, at livejournal DianaMoon was taken. Diana Moon is my pen name and my kinda Sailor Moon Mary Sue's alter ego (her senshi form was Sailor Dream). If I ever make it to prolit, it will be the pseudonym I take on. I derived the name not for the Sailor Moon fandom but from a group of friends in middle school who wanted to learn more about wicca (fyi, we went to catholic school =D). So we all chose new names. XD I'm sure you're wondering where Dizilla came from. A group of online friends of mine would chat on AIM and RP silly situations. Mainly fighting each other haha. I actually turned one of them (Jay) into an inanimate object (the jaybat) and transformed myself into a godzilla type character named Dizilla. Thus the name is born.

2. My name is Carmen because like most Hispanic families, I'm named after other relatives. In this case after my great grandmother and the Virgen de Carmen for protecting me when my mom was pregnant with me. Officially on my birth certificate though, it's one of my middle names. My first name was put on there by my father while my mom was still unconscious. XD

3. My journal is titled "Just An Ordinary Girl"/"Forever Dreaming" because I wanted my livejournal in the beginning to be personal. As you can see, it still is. I don't have much confidence in myself and didn't feel like putting up some spiffy title, just the truth. "Forever Dreaming" is what my old domain blog was back in the day. I'd have it themed with my layout of different things like: castles in the sky, moonlight warriors, etc. I love symboling that has to do with dreams and the moon and stars. I tend to always label things with those kind of meanings. I may be an ordinary girl in the real world, but forever dreaming of a more wonderful place. ^^;;

4. My friends page is called 友達(tomodachi) ｂｅｃａｕｓｅ it is Japanese for friends. At LJ, everything is Japanese labeled cause I thought it looked prettier that way. The subline for my friends page is 気の合った人 , meaning kindred spirits cause that's what I hope y'all are. ^_^

5. My default user pic is because it's the same scene as my current LJ banner. Also fit the mood I wanted my design to emote. I love Haruhi/Tamaki (Ouran Host Club) and this scene in the anime was PERFECT. I didn't make this icon btw. As for my IJ default icon? just wanted to put something up for the holidays and have been too lazy to change it. XD
